Blast Events LTD (trading as Big Boss Events/ Hire/ Presents/ Corporate) T&C’s

1. General Agreement
By renting equipment from Big Boss Events (“the Company”), the Hirer (“the Customer”) agrees to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all rental agreements unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Hire Period
The hire period begins from the time and date the equipment is collected or delivered and continues until it is returned or collected by the Company. Late returns may incur additional charges.

3. Use of Equipment
The Customer agrees to use all equipment only for its intended purpose and to follow all safety instructions provided. Equipment must be used in a safe and responsible manner at all times.

4. Liability and Indemnity

  • The Company accepts no liability for any injury, loss, or damage suffered by the
  • Customer or any third party through the use or misuse of the hired equipment.
  • The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all equipment is set up and used in a safe environment and manner.
  • The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Big Boss Events, its owners, and employees from any claims, damages, or legal actions resulting from accidents, injuries, or damages arising from the use of the hired equipment, including (but not limited to) slips, trips, and falls.

5. Damage, Breakage, and Loss

  • All equipment is inspected before and after hire. The Customer is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft that occurs during the hire period.
  • A Breakage Fee will apply to cover the cost of repairs or full replacement of any damaged, lost, or stolen items.
  • The Customer will also be charged for loss of business during the time the equipment is out of use due to damage. This will be calculated based on the average rental rate of the item over the previous 30 days.
  • If equipment is returned in a condition that requires excessive cleaning, a cleaning fee may be applied.

6. Deposit and Payment

  • A security deposit may be required prior to the rental period. This will be refunded upon return of the equipment in good condition.
  • Full payment must be made before or on the day of hire, unless otherwise agreed.
  • The Customer remains liable for any outstanding charges incurred due to damage, late return, or loss.

7. Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the event may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50%.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours of the event will forfeit any deposit or pre-paid amount.

8. Delivery and Collection

  • Delivery and collection are available at an additional charge and must be arranged in advance.
  • The Customer must ensure that access is available for delivery and collection at agreed times. Extra charges may apply for delays caused by lack of access.

9. Weather and Outdoor Use

  • The Customer is responsible for ensuring that outdoor equipment is protected from adverse weather conditions.
  • Damage caused by failure to secure equipment or protect it from rain, wind, or other elements will result in applicable fees as outlined above.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland.
  • Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
